BIOGRAPHY

Our primary focus at Parker Photographic is food and product photography, with an emphasis on style, a sense of place, and appetite appeal. We work with our clients to make sure their products are captured in the best light - literally and figuratively. Mike Parker has been a professional advertising photographer for over 20 years, shooting everything from large room sets to spoonfuls of cereal. Prior to opening Parker Photographic, Mike was head of studios for the former Dayton's and for Cy DeCosse Inc. Our studio is fully digital and can accommodate multiple sets. We shoot with the latest LEAF digital backs, capturing 20x15 inch 300 DPI files. Located in the historical Northrup King Building in NE Minneapolis, our studio features wooden beams, exposed brick, and lots of natural light. We have a professionally equipped stylist kitchen, a large private client office and a comfortable conference area. We also have a large fully-stocked prop room on site, enabling us to create any look from casual contemporary to vintage. Parking for our studio is close, plentiful and free.
